You are a warrior
Maybe you don't feel like it today, but you are a warrior. She lives in you. Reach for her. Call upon her. She is you, you are her.
Maybe you've gone through alot of pain and suffering as of late, and maybe you're at your breaking point, and you've found this blog. This is no coincidence. The universe is kind like that. It heard your cries and directed your steps. Thank you universe!
As a soul sister and fellow warrior, I'm here to tell you it's time to get yourself up out of the fetal position, and decide to be strong again, in spite of everything that has happened. You are always and only ever one decision away from a completely different life. Decide what you want for yourself today.
You're a warrior. You're unbreakable. You're undefeatable. You are powerful, yes you are. The past didn't make it, but you did and the only way forward is with determined energy and love.
I promise you, when you rise from this ocean of pain, and look back, you'll see why you had to go where you've been, and you'll find yourself stronger than ever before. It is only ever in looking backwards that we are able to connect the dots.
You are a warrior - You've been through a lot, but you are still here. You survived the toughest parts of your life and you've come out stronger. You are brave and courageous—you are a warrior. You might not feel like it right now, but you are.
When I think about what it means to be a warrior, I am reminded of a time in my life when I didn't think I would make it out to the other side in one piece. Despite the many challenges along the way, I never gave up or let those challenges defeat me. I had to make a choice. Who did I want to be in my story? Even though my ego tried convincing me that giving up was easier I knew quitting wasn't an option because quitting would mean failing my mission—and that's not the way I wanted my story to be told, so I alchemized the pain and turned it into power.
Look at your life as if it were a story - how do you want your story to be told? How do you want it to read? Who do you want to be in the story that YOU are authoring?
Do not let this moment in time define who you are—you are undefeatable, and everything that you are feeling and experiencing is temporary.
You are a warrior, a survivor, a healer, and fighter. You are also a champion and winner.
I know that these words can not be easy to hear when you are in the midst of your struggle. I know they may sound like empty platitudes or hollow affirmations. But let me tell you something: I am saying these things because they are true. And if I believe them to be true about myself—and they have been in my life!—then I know they can be true for anyone else who needs them.
You are a warrior. You have the strength and power to do whatever you set your mind to, no matter how daunting it may seem. You've survived so much already, and now it's time for you to rise up and take back control of your life.
You are strong enough to do anything you put your mind to—and that includes beating whatever battle you are in the middle of. To win the battle you have to start with the belief that victory is possible, because the greatest war always ever face, is in our mind.
Our mind is a record of the past, it does not decide the future. You do.
You were created for a purpose; God, the universe, source, whatever higher power you believe in, has a plan for each one of us. Your purpose is unique and precious, but sometimes things happen along the way which make it hard for us to see what God really has planned for our lives... until now! Now is the perfect time to remember that life is always happening for you.
Maybe the illness is showing you where you've neglected your wellness and have allowed toxic thoughts, feelings, relationships to take over your life and it's your bodies way of telling you it's enough.
Maybe the job ending is a way for you to finally follow your soul's calling and mission.
Maybe the relationship that ended, ended because they could only take you so far on the journey, they were just sent into your life to prepare you for your happily ever after.
Maybe they were sent to teach you what unconditional love is, and how much it can hurt when it doesn't come from the right person. Maybe they were sent to show you that even though their love wasn't enough, yours will be one day.
Maybe they were sent in order to help you learn how to love yourself well enough that when someone else comes along who can give you what they couldn't—and who wants to be there for as long as forever lasts—you're ready for them.
Sometimes, we don't realize what we have until it's gone. And sometimes, people come into our lives for a reason—to teach us something about ourselves, or to teach us how to be better. Maybe they were the wrong person at the wrong time, or maybe they were exactly what you needed in order to learn how to love yourself and others more fully. Either way, if this relationship ended (and even if it didn't), take some time to reflect on what you learned from having that person in your life—even if it was just how not to treat them!
You are a warrior.
You are a survivor.
You are a fighter.
You are a healer.
You are a leader, and you have the power to inspire others through your actions and example alone. You have the ability to help others heal by healing yourself and taking someone else's hand and being there for them in their time of need, just like I am today.
If you want to be something different than what you are feeling today, then it’s up to YOU to make it happen!
You are a warrior. You have survived the pain and will emerge from it stronger than before. Unbreakable, undefeatable, powerful and free. Remember: what does not kill you makes you stronger.
If you need a little reminder of the warrior within, check out my Warrior necklace line, that I designed after going through my own storm and deciding that I was a WARRIOR and that warriors can do hard things, and when we lead with LOVE, anything is possible.
Sending you all my love,
Amanda
