Why the way you think and feel matters.

Little did I know when I created @worthywands that there was incredible mad science why the prototype I created was working for me, and it is now working for thousands of other people.
If you're anything like me, you probably grew up hearing that someone in your family had cancer, there you should be careful. Or that someone had this illness and it's genetic. What I've since come to learn is this:
There is no "cancer" gene.
There is no "illness" gene.

Genes are turned on by the thoughts we think and the quality of our internal environment.

Every one of your trillions of cells are listening and physically reacting in response to the thoughts that run through your mind.

Neuroscience has shown over and over again that just thinking about something can cause your brain to release neurotransmitters, chemical messengers that allow it to communicate with parts of itself and your nervous system.

Neurotransmitters control virtually all of your body's functions, from hormones to digestion to feeling happy, sad, or stressed, angry or whatever other cocktail of emotion we allow ourselves to experience.

Every thought you have causes neurochemical changes. When people consciously practice gratitude, they get a surge of rewarding neurotransmitters, like dopamine, and experience joy usually correlated with more of the neurochemical norepinephrine.

@drjoedispenza says neurons that fire together wire together. So, if you have been bombarding your cells with negative thoughts, you are literally programming your cells to receive more of the same negative peptides in the future.

You are speaking to your cells with every thought you have. The question is what are you programming them with?

This is why every single one of our products has a positive message embedded in it, so they can feed your mind and cells healthy thoughts that will take root and become your default way of thinking.

Your biology doesn't spell your destiny, your thoughts do.

The more positive the input, the more positive the output of your genes. Epigenetics is allowing lifestyle choices to be directly traced to the genetic level and is proving the mind-body connection irrefutable.

You have much more power than ever believed to influence your physical and mental realities. How you think matters. How you feel matters. Your mindset is recognized by your body right down to the cellular level, and the more you improve your mental habits, the more beneficial response you'll get from your body.

It's true, you can't control what has happened in the past, which shaped the brain you have today, programmed your cells, and caused certain genes to switch on.

However, you do have the power in this moment and going forward to choose your perspective and behavior, which will change your brain, cells, and genes.
The only way is forward. That's all that counts. Find ways to reach for better feeling thoughts, because how you think and feel REALLY does matter. This isn't positive thinking ra-ra - this is science and it literally CAN save your life.
